I was about to graduate towson university with an exercise science degree and I didn’t know what I want to do for my career. As I was playing in a golf league, that’s where I met Dr. Robert Huddler.

He told me about prosthetics and orthotics and it seemed interesting to me so I wanted to shadow him and see what it was like. After that week of shadowing, I sat down for an interview with Rob and Meir and I knew that’s what I want to do as a career.

I like this field because I enjoy helping people and seeing them move and be active. After working with my first patient and seeing them be successful is what gives me motivation to help every single patient reach their personal goals.

If I can help a patient gain back their independence and mobility, I feel I have been successful with my job and I’m very happy about that.

I have set some professional goals for myself in the near future; I am taking an exam for my prosthetic assistant certification and will also be pursuing my masters degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
